Whitespot (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis) is often triggered by sudden temperature changes or stress and can spread rapidly if left untreated. Pond Medic Ick Clear is designed to break the parasite's life cycle, helping your fish recover quickly while reducing the risk of reinfection.

Directions for Use

  1. Stop feeding fish during treatment.
  2. Calculate the pond volume accurately:
    • Length × Width × Average Depth (metres) × 1000 = Total litres
  3. Switch off any UV steriliser before treatment.
  4. Shake the bottle vigorously before every application.
  5. Remove activated carbon, zeolite, and other absorbent filter media.
  6. Increase aeration using an air pump or waterfall, as medication may reduce oxygen levels.
  7. Monitor water quality, including pH, ammonia, and nitrate, throughout treatment.
  8. Observe fish closely during treatment and discontinue use if severe adverse reactions occur.

  • 1 ml per 200 litres of pond water
  • 10 ml per 2,000 litres of pond water
