AquaForest Sea Salt 7.5–25 kg
Laboratory-Made Marine Salt for Fish, Soft Corals & Invertebrates
AquaForest Sea Salt is a premium-quality marine salt designed to provide suitable living conditions for marine fish, less demanding corals, and invertebrates. Developed using years of research, experience, and analysis of natural seawater, its formula is designed to closely reflect the conditions found in the natural marine environment.
Sea Salt is particularly well suited to fish-only marine aquariums and systems containing simple soft corals and less delicate invertebrates. Its easy-to-dissolve formula makes seawater preparation straightforward and convenient.

Benefits
Ideal for Fish-Only Aquariums
Sea Salt is specifically suited to marine systems where fish are the primary inhabitants, making it an excellent choice for fish-only aquariums.
Supports Less Demanding Corals
The formula is suitable for aquariums containing simple and less delicate corals, particularly soft corals.
Suitable for Invertebrates
Sea Salt provides an appropriate marine environment for a variety of less demanding aquarium invertebrates.
Easy to Prepare
The salt dissolves easily, allowing you to prepare fresh saltwater quickly for routine water changes and aquarium maintenance.
Consistent & Reliable
Every batch is carefully tested to help ensure consistent composition, quality, and safety.
How to Use AquaForest Sea Salt
- Start with RODI water at approximately 24°C / 75°F.
- For a target salinity of 30 ppt (1.022 S.G.), add approximately 345 g (12.17 oz.) of Sea Salt to 10 L (2.7 US gal) of water.
- Stir vigorously for approximately 15 minutes, until the salt has completely dissolved and the water becomes clear.
- Check the resulting salinity using a refractometer before use.
- Once the salinity has been confirmed, the saltwater is ready for use.
Storage & Handling
- Store the salt in a dry and dark place.
- After dissolving, freshly prepared saltwater should be used within 3 days.
- Evaporation can change the parameters of prepared saltwater. If you are not using it immediately, store it in a tightly closed container.
- If mixed saltwater has been stored for several days, recheck the salinity before use.
- Safety Data Sheet available upon request.
Quality Control & Laboratory Testing
AquaForest Sea Salt is produced in the EU under strict laboratory supervision using high-quality ingredients selected to minimise the risk of unwanted contaminants.
Every 600 kg batch is mixed and three samples are collected for laboratory analysis. Each sample is dissolved in 15 litres of RO water and analysed using two individually calibrated ICP-OES spectrometers.
One spectrometer is used to analyse macronutrients, while the other analyses micronutrients. This thorough testing process helps verify composition uniformity and identify undesirable contaminants, providing greater consistency, quality, and safety.
Laboratory analysis results are made available online for customers.
