Recommended Phosphate Level
The optimal phosphate level for a reef aquarium is:
0.03–0.05 mg/L (ppm)
PO4+ should only be used when phosphate levels are very low.
Dosage
Add 1ml of AquaForest PO4+ per 100 litres (approximately 26 US gallons) of aquarium water to increase the phosphate level by approximately 0.01 mg/L (ppm).
Maximum Daily Dose
Do not exceed 1ml per 100 litres of aquarium water per day.
How to Use
- Test the phosphate (PO₄) level of your aquarium water.
- Use PO4+ only when phosphate levels are very low.
- Calculate the required dose based on your aquarium volume and current PO₄ level.
- Add the appropriate amount of PO4+ to the aquarium.
- Test phosphate levels regularly and increase gradually until the desired level is reached.
