AquaForest Component 1+2+3+ Concentrate 3 x 5L
AquaForest Component 1+2+3+ Concentrate is a modern, space-saving solution for marine aquarists based on the proven Balling method. It allows you to prepare three essential reef aquarium solutions — Component 1+, Component 2+, and Component 3+ — while taking up significantly less storage space than conventional ready-to-use solutions.
Each 1-litre concentrate bottle produces 5 litres of the corresponding ready-to-use solution when diluted with osmosis water. The concentrated format makes the product easier to store and transport while providing the essential macro and micro elements required to support healthy coral growth and vibrant coloration.

Balanced Reef Supplementation
The system provides essential macro and micro elements in a format designed to support coral growth, health, and coloration.
How to Prepare
Concentrate 1+ — Prepare 5 L of Component 1+
- Shake the concentrate thoroughly.
- Pour Concentrate 1+ into a clean 5-litre container marked for 5 litres.
- Fill the empty concentrate bottle with osmosis water to approximately 1/3 of its volume.
- Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.
- Pour the rinsing water into the 5-litre container.
- If concentrate remains in the bottle, repeat the rinsing process.
- Fill the 5-litre container with osmosis water up to the 5-litre mark.
- Mix thoroughly until the solution is uniform.
Concentrate 2+ — Prepare 5 L of Component 2+
- Shake the concentrate thoroughly.
- Pour Concentrate 2+ into a clean 5-litre container marked for 5 litres.
- Fill the empty concentrate bottle with warm osmosis water at approximately 40°C to around 1/3 of its volume.
- Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.
- Pour the rinsing water into the 5-litre container.
- If concentrate or salt crystals remain in the bottle, repeat the process.
- Fill the container with warm osmosis water to the 5-litre mark.
- Mix thoroughly until the solution is uniform and any remaining crystals dissolve.
- Allow the solution to cool for approximately 1 hour before use.
Note: Sediment or crystallization may occur because of the high concentration of substances in the product. This is normal and does not affect product quality.
Concentrate 3+ — Prepare 5 L of Component 3+
- Shake the concentrate thoroughly.
- Pour Concentrate 3+ into a clean 5-litre container marked for 5 litres.
- Fill the empty concentrate bottle with osmosis water to approximately 1/3 of its volume.
- Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.
- Pour the rinsing water into the 5-litre container.
- If concentrate remains in the bottle, repeat the process.
- Fill the container with osmosis water to the 5-litre mark.
- Mix thoroughly until the solution is uniform.
How to Dose
Once prepared, dose Component 1+, Component 2+, and Component 3+ in equal amounts.
The daily dosage should be determined according to the individual consumption of your aquarium. Regularly test the key parameters:
- Calcium (Ca)
- Magnesium (Mg)
- Carbonate hardness (KH)
For a moderately stocked aquarium containing hard corals, the approximate starting dosage is:
25 ml per 100 L of aquarium water per day
