AquaForest Barium 200ml
AquaForest Barium is a trace element supplement designed to help maintain the appropriate concentration of barium in reef aquariums. Although barium is naturally present in seawater in very small amounts, micronutrients can have an important influence on the overall condition of reef aquarium inhabitants.
Research indicates that barium is regularly consumed by aquarium inhabitants, although its exact effect on SPS coral condition is not yet fully understood. Supplementation may therefore be particularly beneficial in aquariums with high micronutrient consumption, especially systems dominated by SPS corals.

Recommended Barium Level
The recommended barium concentration in reef aquarium water is:
0.001–0.04 mg/l (ppm)
Because every aquarium has different micronutrient consumption, supplementation should be based on regular water testing, preferably ICP-OES test results.
Dosage
1ml of AquaForest Barium per 100 litres (27 US gal) of aquarium water increases the barium level by approximately 0.005 mg/l (ppm).
