How to Use
Recommended dosage: 1 measuring spoon per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water.
- Fill a small container with approximately 20 ml of aquarium water.
- Add 1 measuring spoon of AF Pure Food.
- Mix thoroughly for approximately 1 minute.
- Pour the resulting suspension directly into the aquarium, or use a pipette to target-feed selected corals.
- Use at least once per week.
In well-established, mature aquariums, the product can be used more frequently, up to daily, depending on the aquarium's needs and coral response.
Dosing Tips
Every aquarium is different, and the appropriate feeding frequency and dosage may vary depending on coral population and system conditions.
When introducing AF Pure Food:
- Start with ½ of the recommended dose, or even ¼ dose for sensitive systems.
- Observe the corals and their response to feeding.
- If there are no signs of overfeeding, gradually increase toward the recommended dose.
- Adjust the feeding frequency according to the needs of your aquarium.
Best Feeding Time
For optimal nutrient absorption:

Zoanthus, Ricordea, and other mushroom corals: Feed during the day.

SPS and LPS corals: Feed after the aquarium lights have gone out.
For the best results, dispense coral foods directly into the aquarium or target-feed selected corals using a pipette.
During feeding, it is recommended to switch off the protein skimmer for approximately one hour to allow the corals sufficient time to capture and absorb the available nutrients.
