AquaForest AF Protect Dip is a disinfecting coral dipping solution designed to help protect corals when introducing them to a reef aquarium or during quarantine.

The solution thoroughly cleanses the surface of corals and helps reduce the risk of developing various coral diseases and conditions, including tissue necrosis, coral bleaching, mycosis, AEFW, and Brown Jelly Syndrome.

AF Protect Dip is formulated to be safe for corals and contains no iodine or oxidizing compounds, making it suitable for routine preventive coral bathing.

How to Use

Always perform the coral bath outside of the main aquarium.

  1. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
  2. Take 5 litres of water directly from the aquarium and place it in a suitable container.
  3. Add 2.5ml of AF Protect Dip to the 5 litres of aquarium water.
  4. Place the coral into the prepared solution.
  5. Gently clean the coral's surface by rinsing it in the solution or carefully using a toothbrush.
  6. Allow the coral to remain in the bath for up to 5 minutes.
  7. Transfer the coral into a separate container containing a fresh portion of aquarium water to rinse it.
  8. Transfer the cleaned coral back into the aquarium or quarantine system.

Important Information

  • Coral dipping should always be performed outside of the main aquarium.
  • Do not pour the used dipping solution into the aquarium.
  • The prepared solution is intended for single use only and must not be reused.
  • Do not exceed the recommended bathing time of 5 minutes.
  • Keep the product away from use intended for human consumption.
  • For best preventive care, consider using AF Protect Dip when introducing new corals or placing corals into quarantine.
