How to Use
Recommended dosage: 1 measuring spoon per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water.
For target feeding:
- Fill a small container with approximately 20 ml of aquarium water.
- Add 1 measuring spoon of AF Power Food.
- Mix for approximately 1 minute to create a suspension.
- Use a pipette to feed selected corals directly.
The prepared suspension can also be dosed directly into the aquarium at a rate of 1 measuring spoon per 100 L (27 US gal).
Use at least once per week.
In well-established, mature aquariums, AF Power Food can be used more frequently, up to daily, depending on the aquarium's needs and coral response.
Dosing Tips
Every aquarium is different, and the ideal dosage may vary depending on the coral population and aquarium conditions.
When introducing AF Power Food:
- Start with ½ of the recommended dose, or even ¼ dose.
- Observe the corals and their response to feeding.
- If there are no signs of overfeeding, gradually increase toward the recommended dosage.
- Adjust feeding frequency according to the needs of your reef.
Best Feeding Time
For optimal nutrient absorption:

SPS and LPS corals: Feed after the aquarium lights have gone out.

Zoanthus, Ricordea, and other mushroom corals: Feed during the day.
For the best results, target-feed selected corals directly using a pipette whenever possible.
During feeding, it is recommended to switch off the protein skimmer for approximately one hour to give corals more time to capture and absorb the available nutrients.
