Maintaining a stable pH is essential in reef aquariums. Prolonged pH fluctuations can slow calcification, inhibit the growth of coralline algae, and in extreme cases, significantly restrict the calcification process.

When to Use AF Build

How to Use
Dose 1 drop per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water every other day.
- Dose after the aquarium lights have turned off.

- Do not mix AF Build with other products in the same container.
- AF Build can be administered using a dosing pump, provided it dispenses the product in drops.
- For best nutrient absorption, dispense coral supplements directly into the aquarium.
Dosing Tips
Every reef aquarium is different, and the ideal dosage may vary depending on coral population and aquarium conditions.
When introducing AF Build:
- Begin with ½ of the recommended dose, or even ¼ dose for sensitive systems.
- Observe the corals and their response to supplementation.
- If there are no signs of overdosing, gradually increase the dosage toward the recommended amount.
- Adjust according to the needs and response of your aquarium.
Recommended Feeding Practice
For improved nutrient absorption, SPS and LPS corals should generally be fed after the lights have gone out.
Corals such as Zoanthus, Ricordea, and other mushroom corals can be fed during the day.
When feeding or dosing coral supplements, it is recommended to turn off the protein skimmer for approximately one hour to allow the nutrients to remain available to the corals.
